We are Cliffe House Training Academy, and we’re the proud sister company to Cliffe House Day Nurseries. Since 1998, Cliffe House has continuously delivered award-winning childcare for little ones across the West Yorkshire area.
Nurturing and developing minds is at the heart of what we do, and we took this one step further in 2022, when Cliffe House Training Academy was born.
With an aim to train the next generation of nursery practitioners, our Training Academy works closely with early years employers in the Yorkshire area, offering both a training and recruitment solution.
What we do best
All year starts
We have capacity for new students on a rolling basis – there’s no waiting for September!
Our caseloads are reasonable
We place an emphasis on keeping our assessors’ caseloads manageable – so every student is able to be a priority
Skills Builder days
We run regular Skills Builder days, which consolidate apprentices’ Early Years studies whilst also enrich their wider personal development
Bespoke, accessible learning plans
Each learner has a specialised online learning plan that both of you can access 24/7
What is an apprenticeship?
Apprentices are 16 years or older and they combine working with studying – this allows them to gain skills, knowledge and behaviours for a specific role, all whilst becoming qualified.
As an employer. you can receive funding to pay for the apprenticeship training – this is paid directly to us as the training provider. The funding covers the costs of the training and assessment. The amount you get depends on many factors – we will happily discuss these with you.

A maximum 5% study fee cost
If an apprentice is under 21, there are zero fees. For an apprentice over 21, we charge a fee of 5% of the study costs
